"Friends"

Baltimore Orioles prefer tall trees such as Elm, Cottonwood or Maples to build their nests, which can be 90 feet above the ground.  The males sing almost constantly in April and May until they find a mate.  Their song is a clear set of recognizable sweet whistles that are paired and repeated 2-7 times, lasting 1-2 seconds.
